WE ARE COMING TO MICHIGAN on OCTOBER 20-21, 2018
HHT is a family affair and this is an event that everyone should attend! Cure HHT is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an HHT conference this fall for HHT patients of all ages and healthcare professionals treating this disease.
This will be the only conference this year to highlight the pediatric component of HHT, featuring a presentation by HHT pediatrician Dr. Andy White, a parent forum and a Kidz Club program.
We know that Michigan is an area that is underserved but has HHT Centers of Excellence in neighboring states. Educating our community of patients, physicians, academic institutions, professional associations, and corporate partners about this disease EMPOWERS us all to create a future that will allow HHT patients to live a normal life, filled with spontaneity and joy.
Our community is built on mutual support and strong relationships. You are an essential component in our mission to find, treat and cure HHT. The Cure HHT Conference is a unique opportunity to forge new bonds and strengthen old ones, and a way for all of us to teach, learn and grow together.
We look forward to seeing you all in Ann Arbor!

The Kidz Club is a program designed to help children understand and manage HHT. On the road to a cure, we aim to replace fear and uncertainty with confidence and awareness, helping children advocate for themselves in every aspect of their lives.
A great age-appropriate alternative to our adult lectures and workshops, our Kidz Club provides a fun learning environment. Children will have the opportunity to take part in open forum discussions with HHT specialists that will foster better understanding of family history, teach them how to care for themselves and perhaps the most vital lesson of all is they learn that they are not alone!
Fully supervised and designed for children from ages 6 to 16 who have HHT in their family. The youth program is conscious of the impact HHT has on all members of a family and contains activities that address both those who inherited the disease as well as those who did not.
- Children (ages 6-12); Teens (ages 13-16)
- FREE of charge with paying parent or guardian
- Field trip / special activity on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12-4pm
- Program run by Cure HHT and overseen by Lynne Sekarski, pediatric nurse at WashU / St. Louis Children’s Hospital HHT Center
