Losing Gramma to HHT

Lucille Pratt
As a child I watched my Gramma go from being ok to extreme illnesses. Severe nosebleeds and the ultimate transfusions until she became senile. Hallucinations and distended abdomen. I learned HHT WAS HER KILLER. She was bleeding out internally. She was my mentor and my mom. I miss her so very much. Her birthday was this week. I'm 44 now and have not had her in my life for 13 years. I miss her. She taught me about unconditional love, Faith in God. I truly miss her so much my heart breaks. Wishing there was a cure and more knowledge of this disease. Little was known. I too have this disease. PAVMS LIVER, VMS, AND NOSE BLEEDS, AND OTHER ISSUES. SHE IS MY HERO. I LOVE YOU GRAMMA.

God\'s Angel Trish

Laura Wright
Trish, was a generous, spiritual, life saving Angel God had here on this earth. We will sorely miss you and the wealth of knowledge you so readily shared. Rest In Paradise, sweet lady.

When HHT touches someone close to you, it's natural to want to share their story with others.

HHT is a relentless disease that affects over one million people around the world. Many of those people are robbed of the opportunities that would allow them to lead a full and normal life. Cure HHT is the only organization in the world dedicated solely to research, education, and advocacy that will allow us to find a cure for this disease. You can make a tremendous impact on our mission and honor a loved one by creating a Memorial or Tribute.

Whether your family has managed HHT for generations or you are the first to be diagnosed, everyone has a story to tell. One of the dynamics that keeps our small community so strong is the constant opportunity HHT families have to relate to one another.
